The Mr Coffee machine finally died a week or so ago, therefore without much hesitation I was able to go out and get a new machine. I had been wanting a new coffee machine for a while but was just waiting for the old one to completely bust.
What I really wanted was one of these......
The Royal Coffee Bar from Saeco is real nice but the cost is a bit prohibitive at $1,599.99 so that was out of the question.
The next best thing from an economical point of view was the Krup XP1500, yeah not quite as catchy as the "Royal Coffee Bar" and Krup sounds, well, a bit Krup really!
But it worked out great as we were able to get it using some points from a reward scheme and so far so good.....the espresso element is a nice upgrade from the Mr Coffee and will probably be used the most. Having the option to make more than four cups will be better for entertaining meaning people don't have to have coffee in different sittings :-)
It's not a Saeco though.....that will have to wait!
