What a weekend & IM South Africa....

What a weekend.....

1)For the first time in a while the weather cooperated and I managed to get a very solid weekend of cycling. Close to 8 hours was just what I needed to ramp up the cycling miles.

2)Close friend Chris Sellar raced his first Ironman in South Africa and did a great time of 10hrs 17mins for 9th place in Age Group.....fingers crossed for the Hawaii roll-down!

3)The 70.3M World Championships were on tv and so we could relive the race from this past November....and wish we were back in North Redington Beach!

4)Sarah and I ventured into DC to see the remnants of the National Cherry Blossom Festival and also managed to sneak up to the top of the Washington Monument....I would definitely recommend it if you can ever get a ticket (Fortunately the weather was cold and cloudy so all the tickets were not taken!)

and to top it off we decided to get a chinese takeaway for dinner on Sunday night...a great weekend!
