The past four weeks since the 70.3m Worlds have been official "downtime" with training being limited and just doing enough to keep me ticking over. Starting this Saturday the winter base training kicks in and the hours gradually begin to increase in preparation for the Spring races, and in particular Eagleman in early June. In time I will post my 2007 season review and also a preview of the 2008 season including races and goals.
In the meantime however, we have had the first winter storm of the season (a couple of inches of snow) just in time to derail the first weekend of the base training.....at least I have a few months to catch up! It's a good job that I purchased an indoor bike trainer this past week.......
The training ramblings of an Endurance Junkie....tend to ride my bike with the occasional swim and run.
