Chestnut vs Kobayashi............

Most talk around the parking lots before rides this week has probably been whether Contador or Armstrong will win the Tour......the biggest story should be if Joey Chestnut can beat 6-time champ Kobayashi and take home the Nathans Hot Dog Eating title for the 4th straight year! Rumor has it that Kobayashi is trying to up his contract and may not show up for the event, which he won 2001-2006.

According to archives, the Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest was first held in 1916, the year Nathan's opened on Surf Avenue. The contest has been held each year since then, except in 1941, when it was canceled as a protest to the war in Europe, and in 1971, when it was canceled as a protest to civil unrest and the reign of free love.

So who do you think will win.......it has got to be Chestnut, but I don't think he will beat his record of 68 HDBS (Hot Dogs and Buns). Make sure you check it out at 12 noon on ESPN :-)
