The training ramblings of an Endurance Junkie....tend to ride my bike with the occasional swim and run.

- End of year summary for 2020. It ended up being my biggest year in a long time (since I was cycling to work in the UK) and certainly helped by not having to commute into D.C for 9 months. Now the trick will be trying to replicate in coming years as (or if) the commute returns. I definitely respond well to higher volume and that will be important as I look to some future goals. . . . #parvillacycles #IFB #strava #triathlon #swimbikerun #cycling #ultramantri #ironmantri

The Cycle Starts Again......
It's now four weeks after the 70.3M World Championships and the time for thinking about 2009 has begun. The past four weeks have just been about recharging the batteries, sleeping past 6:00am and enjoying some desserts! I have just been ticking along with a few workouts a week keeping the body aware that training will not be far off of the horizon. As of this week however, base training has started to get kicked up a notch and a 4-hour ride on the Fixie this past Saturday served as notice that the bike work will be a major focus of this "off-season". More details will follow as I fully outline the plans for 2009 but suffice to say that I need to get the bike splits lower while continuing to run strongly....
