NEWS ALERT - IRONMAN UK are pleased to announce that entries for the 2008 IRONMAN UK are now online at www.ironmanuk.com. So far, over half the allotted places have been assigned to athletes on the Pre registration list, so organisers are advising international athletes to get in quick to avoid disappointment.
IRONMAN UK will take place on the 7th September 2008 and will provide athletes with a last chance to qualify for the World Championships in October 2008, and with the short time between the UK event and the World Championships, it promises to be one of the most exciting roll downs ever.
Well this is potentially great news for me.....Sarah and I were planning on going home in late August for a friends wedding and Ironman UK is typically the middle of August so the race wasn't an option. With the date change to the first weekend in September this opens the opportunity for another M-DOT race next year and what a great way to spend a wedding anniversary?!.....I'll keep you posted.
