IMPORTANT UPDATE:
After meeting with all Local Emergency Management Staff for the Cambridge area, the following determinations have been made:
As of now, the weather may still be affecting the area and creating the most problems for the swim portion of the race. Therefore, the swim start location has been CHANGED to begin and end at Great Marsh Park. It will be in Hambrooks Bay, a protected body of water, and it will consist of two 1.2 mile loops. On race morning, after dropping off your Run Gear and your Special Needs Bags at the High School, you will be taken by bus from the High School to Great Marsh Park. If you have someone supporting you for the race, they may drive and park in Great Marsh Park. Body Marking and all pre-race activites will take place at Great Marsh Park.
All other logistics of the race remain the same.
